  • 05-martes 9
  • 06-Reloj de Flores a
  • 07-Balneario Vina del Mar a

We will leave from the hotels to visit Valparaiso, this beautiful city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Valparaiso has the shape of a natural amphitheater facing the sea, as almost the entire city hangs from the hills, so we will take the opportunity to travel in one of its traditional “ascensores” (funiculars) and visit the Paseo 21 de Mayo. From its magnificent viewpoint we can take the most incredible pictures of this port city.

Then, we will walk the Atkinson and Gervasoni Walks, so full of history; they are the legacy of the foreign immigrants who came to Valparaiso when this important port was considered "The Jewel of the Pacific". After that, we will continue to the esplanade of Plaza Sotomayor, which is reminiscent of the Heroes of Iquique and the Pacific War.

We will continue our trip to Viña del Mar, "The Garden City". This famous Chilean coastal city is the owner of a fascinating natural beauty, gastronomy and lifestyle, where we will tour around its waterfront and its main tourist attractions: Quinta Vergara, Flower Clock, among others.

To enjoy the exquisite Chilean cuisine, we will have lunch in a tourist restaurant in Viña del Mar, to finally return to the hotels.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10th

Isla Negra: Coast of Poets

  • Casa Pablo Neruda a
  • El Quisco a
  • Isla Negra a
  • Playa Algarrobo a
  • Restaurant Rio Tinto a
  • miercoles 10

We will leave from the hotels and travel to a coast full of poetry and charm where several Chilean poets lived and created their legacy, including the famous writer Pablo Neruda. There we will visit the beaches of Algarrobo and El Quisco, a small bay and hiding place of the English corsair Sir Francis Drake, when the Spaniards chased him like a pirate.

Isla Negra is the place where the most famous house of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda is located (one of the three house-museums that exist). It is, without a doubt, a fairy-tale location. A house conceived by the poet right in front of the sea, with a beautiful architecture and containing unique collections of objects brought from all over the world.

Upon return, we will move to Casablanca to share lunch at the Rio Tinto Restaurant, which also has a wine sales room produced in different Chilean valleys and where we can buy handicrafts created by artists from the region and from all over Chile.

Finally, we will return to the hotels.
